May 2007

Immaculee's Poster Michelle & Immaculee

Thanks to Metro Parent Magazine and African American Family Magazine, one of the highlights of the month of May was meeting Immaculee Ilibagiza, the author of "Left to Tell". Immaculee is a Rwandan holocaust survivor, whose story is a riveting eyeopener of the depravity lurking in the hearts of men, as well as the power and strength that one person can possess in connection with God, love and forgiveness.

I can guarantee that you will not be able to put this book down until it is finished. Immaculee will be returning to Detroit on June 12, 2007 at the Max Fisher Theater along with President, William J. Clinton. Call (313) 576-5111 for ticket information.
